In its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the state of Colorado has mandated that all dental practices, including our orthodontic practice, discontinue all voluntary and elective procedures until April 14th at the earliest. As such, we are restricting patient interaction to address only issues where current patients are in discomfort or instances where patient outcomes will be adversely affected, not just delayed. This goes into effect on March 18th. A staff member will be present Monday through Friday to answer the phones from 8:00-11:00am. Patients that desire to be seen during this time for an urgent orthodontic situation will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 and recent travel history. Dr. Trommeter can be reached on his cell phone to address urgent issues during non-phone hours. His cell phone is 303-514-4568. Appointments between March 18th and April 13th are effectively cancelled. We ask that you do not call to reschedule these appointments until the week of April 6th. The office schedule is a fluid situation and we will update our communication as we know more. We intend to add additional clinic hours to our normal schedule in an effort to minimize the disruption in our patient’s care. We appreciate your understanding as we work through this unprecedented situation.

Learn more about some of the advanced technology you can expect to find when you work with us and how it will benefit you.
The Itero Impression-Less Intraoral Scanner
The Itero Scanner gives us the ability to take digital impressions of your teeth. This can eliminate the need for the uncomfortable, goopy impressions of the past.
This innovative technology works seamlessly with Invisalign to aid the diagnostic process, assist with treatment planning and even simulate treatment. The Itero Scanner not only makes procedures more comfortable for our patients, but it also helps them make educated decisions about the treatment that is right for their needs. It allows patients to receive their aligners 50% faster, with seven times fewer fit issues than traditional impressions. Better fitting aligners means straighter teeth in a shorter amount of time. The scanner can also track the fit of aligners during treatment and detect imbalances in the bite and wearing down of teeth.
The Itero Scanner is not just for Invisalign patients! Trommeter Orthodontics can also fabricate expanders, space maintainers, and retainers without the need for messy and uncomfortable impressions.
Our goal at Trommeter Orthodontics is to make your experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Dr. Trommeter has invested in technology that will make a difference in your overall orthodontic experience and enhance your results.
At Trommeter Orthodontics, we use digital dentistry to make your experience more pleasant. Digital records make it easier for you to communicate pertinent information to us. They also make it more convenient for us to stay in communication with your general dentist.
Digital x-rays allow us to capture images of your teeth more easily, and they are readily available for Dr. Trommeter to review with you during your consultation. Digital images emit 80% less radiation, and there are no harsh chemicals required for developing them. This makes them safer for both our patients and the environment.
Panoramic x-rays give Dr. Trommeter a full view of your teeth and mouth in one picture. This allows him to see your roots and wisdom teeth as well as detect any internal issues that may affect the outcome of your orthodontic treatment. You'll have the opportunity to review your x-rays and discuss your findings with Dr. Trommeter during your consultation.
The Intraoral Camera
The intraoral camera allows us to take and show you full color pictures of your teeth and the inside of your mouth. We'll take these photos prior to your consultation so Dr. Trommeter can review them with you.
Seeing color pictures can help you understand why certain procedures are needed and how they may benefit you on your path to a healthier, more beautiful smile.
